The Projects
The foundation has already taken on its first project by creating a website that offers relevant information in an accessible and digestible form. As well as providing links to related centres, organisations and literature, specific Q&As are very much an integral part of this website.
Ultimately, the Didyma Foundation plans to launch a hotline to offer immediate professional advice to women facing this difficult and challenging situation. The Didyma Foundation plans to raise and initiate public awareness by means of specific information campaigns, educational leaflets, as well as DVDs created to support this activity.
In the long term, the Didyma Foundation would also like to provide medical professionals - particularly those working in economically weaker regions and countries - with both practical and in-depth education across the whole spectrum of reconstructive breast surgery.
